Brandon and Ashley's Wedding Dinner Party

Sharing one of my all time favorite weddings ; Brandon and Ashley’s intimate celebration in Virginia! Ashley reached out to me to create custom menus and place cards for each of her guests. Everything came together beautifully for their gorgeous dinner party with their closest friends.

I created their custom calligraphy menus in Navy ink that complimented their red monogram wax seal perfectly. The mix of modern calligraphy script and all caps descriptions gave the menu a casual feel, all while still making a statement at the place settings. The menus highlighted the courses as well as the sourcing of their ingredients. The personal touches to the menus through the wax seal and calligraphy made the party even more special.

No place setting is complete without place cards! These place cards were done on handmade paper and with navy calligraphy.

French Lilac Envelopes paired with a Classic Invitation Suite for Maryland Wedding

Sharing the calligraphy details for these gorgeous wedding invitations for Koches Koncierge! The bride, Natalie Kochesfahani, is the co-owner of Koches Koncierge, a Baltimore-based luxury concierge and lifestyle management company. While planning her own wedding, Natalie reached out to me to address her invitations after seeing my modern style on Instagram. We tried a few different color options for her envelopes that she wanted addressed in white ink. After sending her a few proofs, she decided on a French lilac colored envelope with white ink. It complimented their classic invitation suite done in blue type and was complete with a monogram crest and vintage stamps.

Natalie selected a modern calligraphy script for the front and a block letter style for the return address.

I used my favorite white ink, Dr. PH Martins Bleed-proof White, an opaque ink that gives almost a 3D effect to the calligraphy. You can see in these close up shots of their wedding rings that the calligraphy is slightly raised off of the envelope and the ink provides added texture to the suite!

Lauren and Todd's Mini Wedding

I absolutely loved working with Lauren to execute her vision! Lauren initially reached out to me earlier in 2020 to do the envelope calligraphy for her invitations. She additionally had big plans for her mid-summer celebration that included a lot of acrylic signage including a seating chart, a welcome sign, and table numbers. Lauren and Todd had to reschedule their big celebration and opted for a micro-celebration on their original wedding date with a smaller guest list due to covid restrictions. Lauren still incorporated acrylic elements for their mini wedding including a welcome sign, table numbers, and some social distancing signage! Their welcome sign and table numbers will be repurposed for their big celebration next year!

Lauren chose an elevated script for her envelopes in silver ink! I love how the ink color coordinated with her invitation suite.

With social distancing in full effect, Lauren chose to add an acrylic sign that said “Spread Love, Not Germs” to their welcome table at their ceremony that included masks and hand sanitizer.

With a smaller guest list, Lauren wanted to add an extra special favor to thank their close family and friends for celebrating with them. I worked with Lauren to execute her vision for custom agate coasters that had silver painted edges. The coasters doubled as place cards for their guests.
