  1. What is the ordering process for calligraphy services for envelopes?

    If you are interested in envelope calligraphy please fill out the contact form here. I will send you a customized quote for your project. Once you have your items, you send me your envelopes or paper goods along with your guest list. When everything is finished, they will be sent back to you within the turnaround time agreed upon! Any necessary changes or additions must be discussed prior to the final shipment. I will hang on to a few extra envelopes in case of any changes after completion, but are they subject to an additional cost and shipping fees.

  2. How much does it cost?

    A great question! Each project will receive a custom quote as each one is different!

  3. How far in advance do I need to book?

    The sooner the better! It is best to contact me at least 2 months in advance for envelope calligraphy and day of items. Keep in mind that certain times of the year are busier than others, so it is best to book as soon as you can! If your order is larger than 250 invitations/envelopes, consider booking earlier to ensure that everything can be completed in time. For spot calligraphy to be used on invitations, it is best to contact be at least 4 months prior to your invitation design deadline.

  4. How should I format my addresses?

    Addresses should be sent in a digital format. Google Sheets or Excel is preferred with each address in its own row and ideally, name, address, apartment, city, state, and zip code should all be in their own columns. This makes it easier to transfer your addresses to my format for addressing. If you would like me to send you my formatting page at the time of booking please let me know! Please make sure that all addresses are written EXACTLY how you want them to appear on your envelopes. This is especially important for international addresses, which should be formatted based on the addressing guidelines for their destination. Changes and additions happen! Just let me know as soon as possible so I can make sure the envelope is correct.

  5. What is your turnaround time?

    Typical turnaround time for envelope orders is 1.5 to 2 weeks from their arrival to me. If you need your envelopes back sooner, I offer rush services for an additional 20% of the order total. Clients are responsible for shipping costs.

  6. Can you match the font on my invitations?

    While I can do my best to match the font of your invitations, keep in mind that calligraphy is not computer generated. Everything is written out by hand and no two pieces will be exactly alike. I can try to alter my script to best match the style of your invitations adding an extra flourish here and there, but the beauty of calligraphy is that it is hand written so, you should not want it to look like a computer font!
